Arabella Bozic is a multi-faceted musician currently based in Paris. She is equally at home performing with orchestras in renowned concert halls, playing chamber music in more intimate venues and working in recording studios as both an instrumentalist and producer in a range of genres.
Arabella Bozic was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and holds Australian, Croatian and Hungarian citizenship. She has spent the last decade living in Europe and has worked in over twenty distinguished orchestras including the Vienna Philharmonic/Vienna State Opera, Camerata Salzburg, Bavarian State Opera, Munich Philharmonic, Deutsches Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra. She has played as guest principal with orchestras including the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra. Arabella regularly plays in chamber music concerts and has participated in series such as Play On Music and the International Society for Contemporary Music “World Music Days.” She has appeared in the Salzburg (Austria), Aldeburgh (UK), Tsinandali (Georgia) Festivals and was part of the Britten Pears Young Artists Programme (UK). She was also awarded the Musica Viva Australia Chamber Music Prize. As a soloist she has performed with orchestras including Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock and appeared on “Deutschlandfunk Kultur” Radio.
Arabella Bozic began her classical training at the age of three, when she began Suzuki Method violin lessons with John Speer in Sydney. She later learnt viola and piano and completed her university degrees majoring in viola performance. She has a Bachelor of Music Performance (Honors Class 1) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music studying with Roger Benedict and a Master of Arts degree from the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, studying with Thomas Riebl. During her studies she also participated in masterclasses including the International Musicians Seminar Prussia Cove (UK) and the Angelika Prokopp Sommerakademie der Wiener Philharoniker (Salzburg). Arabella teaches viola and violin students both privately and through organizations such as “Equal Music” by Ilumina Music directed by Jennifer Stumm.
Arabella completed studies in Music Production at Berklee Online in 2022 and uses ProTools and Ableton Live. She collaborates with artists as an engineer, producer and string arranger. Arabella has recoded violin and viola parts for various albums and movie soundtracks, for example as part of a string trio with Queens of the Stone Age in their recent film and subsequent EP – “Alive in the Catacombs.” Arabella was also on tour with QOTSA in 2025 in various European cities and has also performed with artists such as Eminem, 070 Shake and Johan Lenox on their respective european tours. She also collaborates with young composers such as Sato Matsui, Richard Sears and Beatrice Nicholas.
After living in Salzburg, Berlin, Munich, London, Helsinki, and Vienna, Arabella moved to Paris in 2021. For the next five years she was a full time member of Orchestre de Chambre de Paris and has recently left to return to freelance work.
